About Stephen Rae

Welcome!

I have been working and supporting others, for over 20 years, to address their concerns, issues and fears.

I have been working and supporting others, in a variety of roles, for over 20 years, to address their concerns, issues and fears. My Practice is grounded in Person Centred Therapy with you the client at the centre of every session. I provide a comfortable, safe and confidential environment where you can share your beliefs, thoughts and feelings of your own experiences and personal difficulties.

I am professionally qualified and a registered member of COSCA (Counselling & Psychotherapy in Scotland) and practice within the guidelines of the COSCA Statement of Ethics and Good Practice.

Your first session is your opportunity to meet me and discuss your needs and what you expect from counselling. All counselling sessions are client led and will move at your pace and go where you want to go.

A mutual contract of counselling needs will be discussed within the first session with reviews built in to ensure that the counselling experience fully meets your needs.

How Does Therapy Work?

Sometimes all we need is someone to talk to, to put us back on track.  I provide a caring, supportive and non-judgemental environment to help you.  Talking about it can sometimes be enough. I am proud to  have been changing attitudes for over two decades.
